Unexpected Loss of John F. Curry:
Keys Curry lost his son, John Fitzgerald Curry, on Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, from a heart attack perhaps brought on by an infection in his leg. John was the Chief Public Defender in Wichita Falls, Tx. Keys believes he will be cremated with a memorial service to follow the first week in March.

A wonderful announcement: The house renovation nears completion.

The remodeled PKP house at 2411 Longview should be ready for move in by the start
of the second semester. The focus has been on getting a building permit to modify and update the current PKP house (SDT). It has been a herculean effort and we all owe Douglas Gibbins a PKP thank you for all the work he has put in on this entire effort to keep the chapter with an acceptable place to live and meet. We finally got the permit and renovations are moving along. The House Board has approved a new loan of up to $300,000 to cover remaining renovations. We hope all the funds will not be necessary, but feel that being conservative is our best plan.
